To the Sports Center or Gymnastics Center (152 or 156 Tremont Street):
Take the Essex Street exit from Route 1 in Saugus and head towards
Melrose. Go approximately two miles. At the third set of lights, the
street that you are on (Upham Street) becomes Essex Street. Go straight
through this set of lights and continue through two intersections with
stop signs (Essex Street becomes Tremont Street at the second one) until
you come to your next set of lights. That will be the Lynn Fells Parkway.
Go straight through those lights and the Sports Center and Gymnastics
Center will be about four or five buildings down on your left side across
the street from the Melrose High School football field. Limited parking is
available in front of the facility.

To the 497 Main Street Building:
Take exit 35. Turn left at the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, then
right at the end of the road. Go straight through the set of lights and
continue along Spot Pond Reservoir. As you come to the Stone Zoo on your
right, make your way into the left lane. Turn left at the mini-rotary
intersection (there should be a Melrose sign posted). When you come to the
second set of working traffic lights (approx 1 mile), turn left onto Main
Street. At the second set of lights on your right will be the Melrose
YMCA. Parking is available behind the facility.

FROM THE NORTH: Rt I-93/Rt1 at the merge with Rt 3 (Southeast
Expressway) take the "Storrow Drive" exit and proceed to the
"Fenway" exit (It is a left hand exit). Follow the signs for
"Boylston St Inbound" at which you bear left at the light and
proceed straight for approximately 1-1/2 blocks until the Massachusetts
Ave lights. Bear right onto Massachusetts Ave. Go straight, past Symphony
Hall on the right. Three lights after Symphony Hall, turn right onto
Columbus Ave. The parking area is approximately one quarter mile down on
your right.
FROM THE WEST:
Rt 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) Toll Rd. Take
the "Copley Square" exit (Exit 22). Bear right and turn right
onto Dartmouth Street. Take the next right which is Columbus Avenue and
proceed approximately one mile (across Massachusetts Avenue) to the
parking area.
FROM RT 9 (INBOUND): Proceed
inbound on Rt 9 East which becomes Huntington Ave. Continue on Huntington
Ave and turn right onto Ruggles St. Turn left onto Tremont St. Go one
block. Turn left onto Melnea Cass Blvd. and right onto Columbus Ave. The
parking area is two blocks down on the left.
FROM THE SOUTH: RT
3 (SOUTHEAST EXPRESSWAY) Take Rt 93 N and exit at "Massachusetts
Avenue" (Exit 18). At the bottom of the ramp, proceed straight onto
Melnea Cass Blvd. Continue for approximately two miles to Tremont St.
Cross Tremont St and turn right onto Columbus Ave. The parking area is on

Traveling EAST toward Boston
Take exit 17, at end of exit go straight ahead.
Take third right at traffic light onto PARK Street (there is a sign that says BRIGHTON).
Take first left onto TREMONT Street (there is another sign that says BRIGHTON).
At the end of Tremont Street there is a traffic light. You are in Oak Square.
Take a right onto WASHINGTON Street. The Oak Square YMCA is on your left.
Traveling WEST toward Natick/Framingham
Take exit 17, at end of exit go straight ahead, following signs for Newton.
Take your first left immediately after the Sheraton Tara Hotel and go back over the Pike.
Get over to the right lane.
Take third right at traffic light onto PARK Street (there is a sign that says BRIGHTON).
Continue on, following same directions for people traveling east that are described above.
FROM DOWNTOWN VIA STORROW DRIVE
Follow Storrow Drive west.
It will turn into Soldier's Field Road just past the Double Tree Guest Suites Hotel.
Stay on this roadway. Once you are past the hotel get in the left lane and stay there.
Stay in the left lane as the road turns left. Harvard Stadium will be on your left.
At the set of lights go straight ahead. Follow this road -
Soldier's Field Road - keeping the stadium on your left and the park and Charles River on your right.
Continue past WBZ, Martignetti's and Staples.
After the McDonald's and International House of Pancakes (IHOP) restaurants, take a left at the second set of lights under a bridge.This is BROOKS STREET.

From the intersection of Washington and Walnut Streets (Newtonville MBTA commuter rail stop), proceed east toward the entrance to the Massachusetts Turnpike for 1 mile. Shortly past the bright yellow Jackson Homestead on your left, and just as you approach Clay Chevrolet, turn right at the light at Church Street. Proceed over the short overpass. The entrance to our parking lot is on your right.
From Galen Street
(southbound, from Watertown Square/Nonantum)
From Watertown Square, proceed south on Galen Street (past the large MBTA bus depot at California Street) and continue 1 mile to the traffic rotary at the entrance to the Massachusetts Turnpike. Bear right at the light onto Washington Street. Proceed 200 yards, keeping to the right at the split (the left lanes return you to the rotary, in which case you may continue all the way around and try it again). After you negotiate the split, continue 100 yards (past Frost Cadillac, Honda Village and Clay Chevrolet on your right) to the light at Church Street. Turn left at the light and proceed over the short overpass. The entrance to our parking lot is on your right.
From the Massachusetts Turnpike
(westbound)
Take Exit 17. Continue straight ahead at the end of the ramp. Proceed 200 yards, keeping to the right at the split (the left lanes return you to the rotary, in which case you may continue all the way around and try it again).
